21YH Awarded Community Impact Grant
We're delighted to announce that 21 Young Hearts has been awarded a Community Impact Grant to expand our skills programme for 2025.
We have some exciting news to share. 21 Young Hearts has been awarded a Community Impact Grant which will allow us to expand our trainee programme, introduce two new accredited qualifications, and reach young people in areas of Suffolk we haven’t yet been able to serve.
This funding is the result of months of work by our small but determined team, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the continued support of our customers, donors, and community partners.
What this means in practice
Over the next twelve months, the grant will help us take on six additional trainees, run a series of free outreach workshops in partnership with local schools and youth groups, and upgrade our kitchen to deliver food hygiene training alongside our existing barista and front-of-house programmes.
More details will follow as plans develop. For now — thank you. This is your win as much as ours.
